Where is Ureed based and which countries does it serve?

Our network of vetted, certified freelance professionals spans Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, and the wider MENA region, giving international employers seamless access to specialized, future-ready talent wherever they operate.
What makes Ureed different from Upwork or Fiverr?
Unlike Upwork or Fiverr, Ureed is purpose-built for the Arab world. We offer deep Arabic-language expertise powered by proprietary AI infrastructure, culturally aligned talent across 100+ language pairs, and regional payment methods — all tailored to MENA market realities. Beyond the marketplace, we provide enterprise-grade managed services including secondment, headhunting, and large-scale crowdsourcing and AI data services projects. It’s not just a platform, it’s a full talent ecosystem built for the region.
Is Ureed free to use?
Absolutely. Ureed is free to join for both employers and freelancers. Employers can post jobs, browse profiles, and hire talent with no upfront cost and minimal transfer fees significantly lower than other marketplaces. Freelancers can apply to jobs, communicate with employers, and showcase their services on the platform, all for free. The only fee Ureed charges is a 15% platform fee on each successfully completed and delivered job, ensuring you only pay when work is done and you’re satisfied with the result.
How does Ureed protect my financial rights?
Ureed acts as a secure financial intermediary between employers and freelancers. When a project begins, funds are held in escrow and are only released once both parties have fulfilled the agreed-upon terms.
Who owns the intellectual property rights for completed work?
By default, the employer owns full intellectual property and copyright for all work delivered through Ureed, unless a different arrangement is agreed upon in writing before the project begins. Freelancers cannot claim additional rights after delivery.
Does Ureed support Arabic-language projects?
Ureed was originally built around Arabic language services and hosts tens of thousands of native Arabic speakers across all categories, from translation, copywriting, transcription, and localization to software development, AI & data science, design, and more. The platform itself is fully available in Arabic, including our mobile applications for both employers and freelancers. Backed by proprietary Arabic AI infrastructure covering multiple dialect families — Gulf, Levant, Egyptian, and North African — there’s no platform better equipped for Arabic-language projects.
What types of projects are not allowed on Ureed?
